SpendSee grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal financial management purposes.

You may NOT:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the App for illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices
  • Use the App for commercial purposes without permission

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your device
  • Keeping your passcode secure (if enabled)
  • Backing up your data regularly
  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial data you enter
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Premium Features

SpendSee offers premium features through a one-time in-app purchase:

  • Purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Premium features are a one-time purchase (not a subscription)
  • Purchases are non-refundable except as required by law
  • Premium features are tied to your App Store/Google Play account
  • You can restore purchases on new devices using the same account

5. Data and Privacy

Your financial data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal financial information. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.

You are solely responsible for:

  • Backing up your data
  • Protecting your device from loss or damage
  • Maintaining data security

6. Disclaimers

SpendSee is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

  • Financial Advice: SpendSee is a budgeting tool, not financial advice. We are not financial advisors.
  • Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee error-free operation
  • OCR Accuracy: Receipt scanning uses machine learning and may not be 100% accurate
  • Data Loss: We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, user error, or other causes
  • Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the App

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpendSee and its developer shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
  • Financial decisions made based on App data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).

All content, features, and functionality of SpendSee are owned by the developer and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Updates and Modifications

We may:

  • Update the App to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App for violation of these terms.

  • Apple App Store: Subject to Apple's terms and conditions (iOS)
  • Google Play Store: Subject to Google's terms of service (Android)
  • ML Kit (Android) / Vision Framework (iOS): For receipt scanning
